Job Description
IES Residential is looking for a full-time Material Purchaser to insure informed purchasing decisions are made and to improve procurement effectiveness by providing purchasing expertise and adviceto company departments
Job Duties:
The Material Purchaser accomplishes its mission by carrying out its duties and responsibilities through:
Creating purchase orders for material and fixture based on job specs.
Tracking inventory and materials ordered
Working with Foreman on job site to place/track orders
Purchaser experience preferred.
High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and knowledge of SAP.
Must be an effective communicator, articulate and able to clearly convey information, teach, etc.; must have good interpersonal and leadership skills and interface with all departments.
Good oral and written communication skills, and must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
Experience in Electrical Industry preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
