Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Tool and Die Maker role at Accurate Plastics & Mold Co.
located in Auburn, GA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building molds, dies, and other necessary tooling, inspecting products and equipment, troubleshooting mold and tooling-related issues, and maintaining the production databases and tooling logbooks.
Qualifications Experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment (minimum 5 years) Experience with designing, building, and repairing molds, dies, and other tooling Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of tool room equipment, such as lathes, mills, grinders, drills, and saws Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Proficiency with CAM software, preferably MasterCam Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail Willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and processes of a project, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and quality Excellent communication skills and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks Must be reliable and meet strict quality standards A high school diploma or equivalent, technical certification, or tool and die degree is preferred Knowledge of plastic injection molding is a plus Experience with ISO 9001, and/or other quality management standards is preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally required Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Business Process Improvement Cad Communication Databases Drilling Operations Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
